Add Your Leftover Juicing Pulp into a Bread Recipe

It feels good to juice again! A nice glass of fresh carrot or beet juice always makes my day a little more special. This time I used the leftover pulp in place of the zucchini in a bread recipe I came across. In my opinion, it’s one of the healthier breads I’ve seen. Whole wheat flour, honey as the sugar source and of course, my pulp, which consisted of carrots, apples, ginger and lemon. This bread is dense, fibrous and delicious.

Love tea but don’t feel like sipping on the hot stuff during summer?

Brew a large amount of green tea, add some mint and let it cool to room temp. Place it in the fridge for some quick iced tea.

If you plan on drinking it throughout the day, keep it unsweetened. Drinking sweet tea all day can cause drastic spikes and drops in blood sugar and contribute to weight gain (among other reasons).

This is such a great idea! My husband uses the juicer every day and ends up throwing out the pulp, and I’ve been looking for a way to use it to reduce waste. Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh my gosh!!! This bread is sooooo good and I’ll never make banana bread again. I used an orange, blueberries, blackberries and raspberry as the pulp. Even Dad liked it. Thank you for sharing this and keep them coming….I will surely make this again. Hopefully it freezes well since I didn’t have a 9″ pan so I used 2 - 8″ pans and baked for 45 minutes.

I got a juicer for my birthday three days ago, my first one. I made your Juice Pulp Bread with the leftover fruit pulp. I added chocolate chips to the batter on behalf of my husband. He gave your bread four stars, he’s a tough critic so that’s a pretty good rating for him! Not only was the bread delicious, I feel good about not wasting the leftover pulp. So we got our fiber from it after all.
